Hi! My name is Madi Monahan, and I’m a sophomore at West Central High School. I participate in marching band, softball, track and oral interp. I spend a lot of time doing things like four wheeling, jet skiing and watching House M.D. on DVD. I also love watching baseball and hockey. I’ve got an older sister who many of you know and a younger brother, Ryan, who just started middle school. I’ve lived in Hartford all my life, and I’m proud of it!

Hey! My name is Dustin Ortman. I am a senior at West Central and also a third year journalist on the news media team. My main role on the team is heading most of the video editing for the Tribune’s vodcasts. Outside of the news room, my interests extend to:  biking, kayaking, frolfing, photography, guitar, tennis, camping and traveling and running (I live and breathe track and field!). It is my goal to win a state championship in track and break the state record in the 110 meter hurdles along the way.  Other items and goals you may find on my bucket list are to summit Mt. Everest and create a photo journal of every National Park in the United States. I live on Wall Lake with my twin sister and parents.

Hi! I’m Nicole Christensen, and I’m a junior. I have one brother named Kyle. He’s 18 and graduated in 2010. I play three sports: softball, soccer and volleyball. When I am not doing any of these things, I might be reading or hanging with my friends. I am excited about being a junior, and I’m hoping for a successful school year.
