On Feb. 9, the West Central Trojans hosted the Beresford Watchdogs in a double-header duel. After the Lady Trojans lost to the Watchdogs 54-32, the boys took the court in hopes of ending the night victorious. The Trojans were behind only one point at the end of the first quarter, but the boys headed to the locker room at halftime down 23-17. The Trojans scored 28 points in the second half, but they couldn’t answer to the Watchdogs’ 38 additional points. Leading the team in total field goals made was senior Devin Albers, making five out of his eight attempted shots. Senior Seth Wolles led the team in three-pointers made, scoring two out of his three attempted shots, and free throws made, scoring four. The Trojans lost 61-45.
