Senior Ashley Fritz is the President of FFA in the West Central Chapter, and she is now competing to become State Officer. She has been in FFA for three years, thanks to her best friend convincing her to join FFA sophomore year. Ashley has shown her leadership qualities by “instead of telling you what to do, she’ll help you through the entire process,” according to Linda Petersen, the FFA advisor. “Ashley has an enthusiastic, cool personality and is not afraid to ask questions.” She will soon be competing in the Flandreau CDE, (or Career Development Event) at the end of March. She is expected to do well “She usually gets top five in basic competitions,” said Petersen.
