As we approach winter, many of us will have a unique activity that we will pursue. Some of us will play a school sport, such as basketball, while others will go skiing, snowboarding, or ice skating. When winter comes around, the Winter Olympics is a big part of the season for many of us. Many of us will watch it and take part in an event that it has such as snowmobiling or hockey. The cross country team had an amazing season this year. The girls’ team won four meets this year and had many great performances. The boys’ team won the Canton Invite Sept. 8. The team has had one of the most successful seasons to date and all members are very proud of what they were able to accomplish this season. Continue Reading

The conference meet was recently held at the Madison Golf Course. Although there had been a substantial amount of rain the meet was still run. The girls placed first and the boys’ team finished in third. All six of the girls placed, and two of the boys placed in the top 12. Continue Reading

The West Central cross country team ran at Spencer Park on Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Sioux Falls Christian Invite. The course took the runners along the dog park several times. The girls’ team placed first and the boys’ team placed fourth.
